Courses Accredited with Emergency Care and Safety Institute

The ECSI is an educational organization created for the purpose of delivering the highest quality training to laypersons and professionals in the areas of First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and related safety and health areas. The content of the training materials used by the ECSI is approved by the AAOS and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)-two of the most respected names in injury, illness, and emergency medical care.

The AAOS and ACEP names and training programs are recognized and respected worldwide by businesses and industries, colleges and universities, and fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies. The quality, affordability, and administrative ease make the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) training programs appealing worldwide.

Academic institutions are responsible for the delivery of ECSI courses. Individual professionals conduct courses according to ECSI policies and procedures, as well as the policies of their academic institution, to ensure a successful learning experience for all students.

Every ECSI textbook is the center of an integrated teaching and learning system that offers instructor, student, and technology resources to better support instructors and prepare students. The instructor supplements provide practical, hands-on, timesaving tools like PowerPoint™ presentations, videos and DVDs, and web-based distance learning resources.

The student supplements are designed to help students retain the most important information and to assist them in preparing for exams.

Key components to the teaching and learning systems are the technology resources, which provide interactivities and simulations to help students become great emergency responders. Written acknowledgement of a student's successful course completion is provided in the form of a Course Completion Card, issued by the ECSI.
